Since 2002, Shermeil Dass, M.D., has worked with children, adolescents and
young adults in the Santa Cruz County Foster Care and Juvenile Justice systems,
gaining tremendous experience and connection to the community. She is highly
skilled at interventions, both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic, for disorders
such as Adult and Pediatric ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders and psychotic
Dr. Dass completed an accelerated 6 year BS/MD combined program and was trained
at one of the premier medical communities in Cleveland, Ohio at University
Hospitals of Cleveland, affiliate of Case Western Reserve University. She is
double board certified in both general and child Psychiatry.
Dr. Dass's office accepts several insurance plans. 48 hours notice is required to cancel or change appointments. Changes with less than 48 hours notice will result in you being responsible for the cost of the entire appointment (NOT just a copay). If you miss an appointment due to illness, you must provide a doctor's note. Failure to do so will result in your being charged for a missed appointment. If you do not arrive within 15 minutes of your appointment start time, your appointment will be forfeit and your card will be charged for the full time of the appointment. Any time over your scheduled hour is your responsibility. You will be billed at the time of the appointment. Medi-Cal patients will not be charged for missed appointments, but they will not be accepted back into the practice. PLEASE be sure to keep track of your appointments!
